Not sure which forum to post this in. THis is a rather well done documentary on the great patriotic war. I guess it was made in Russia in 2010, but it has english voice overs (and russian subtitles)

Yes, a very good documentary. Shows that there was a lot more to the Eastern front than just Stalingrad. It is pretty long, but that is a good thing in my opinion. I'd still like a little more detail in each of the battles or operations.

It is more interesting and accurate than other WWII documentaries I have seen.
I don't like how in the English versions they added some comments critical of the USSR that are not present in the original Russian episodes.

Maybe somebody on the Forum that speaks Russian could FanSub the Original Russian Version to do a direct unbiased Subbed version?

Although the subtitles are not always that good.
The English episodes are mostly fine. Just once in a while I notice that a biased comment was sneaked in.
