According to David Glantz, strictly KIA and wounded was 9 mil. But then you can add the ~3 mil. POW's who were shot/starved/frozen.

I started to read history books when I noticed that my historical knowledge has rusted. According to Carl Grimberg 20 million were Russian soldiers (died at front or prison camps). So total number of Russian soldiers who died is something like 10 million. Rest 10 million is civilians.
