Good day to you, comrades!
I was wondering, how was social life like in the 1965-1975 period (I'm focusing on this period of the USSR because it was kind of the best period of the USSR when looking at living and working conditions)? Was there a lot of togetherness and were people friendly towards each other? I know it's a weird question, but I'm really interested in the social aspects of the USSR. And furthermore, what were typical free time activities for happy Soviet families? I would suppose a picnic in the Gorky park (if they lived in Moscow), or Lenin's mausoleum (also, if they lived in Moscow)? I have read a lot about alcoholism in the USSR, but by now I know that it wasn't as bad as it is now. So did a lot of people drink in the USSR? Did this led to child abuse at home or domestic violence? Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it. USSR
