Hello guys,
I'm a big cold war buff and I just started collecting items from the period. I have been traveling when I came across a small shop selling some things. I picked up a hat and a pin, I can't find much on the pin or the hat. That is where I need a little help. I think the hat is a Tank/Artillery Officer Parade 1970-1991 that maybe missing some parts. As for the pin I'm not sure what it is or if these two objects are real (hope they are), thank you for any input and more detail the better Thanks mates. No idea but such stuff was made by the millions so it's most likely real.

I will tell you this, the hat was made in 1989. Indicated by the 1989г at the bottom of the maker patch. It appears it was made in the Ukrainian SSR (УССР), Odessa (ОДЕССА) specifically.
