What do you think about Mugabe and his rule in Zimbabwe?
I'd say vaguely good as he was certainly better than his colonial predecessors but he made some pretty huge missteps.

Mugabe is, and always was, a despot, and the fact that he may have thought of himself as being a 'Marxist' at one stage only makes his behaviour all the more difficult to understand.
