They are blaming Greece as the last soviet state in europe

Sorry to go off topic but would being a survivalist be the same as being paranoid of a zombie apocalypse and thus stocking up on essentials?

Why do we always get into arguments with people who are ignorant and uneducated? I'm sorry but i'm not generalizing for all americans
The funniest shit I've heard was at Occupy LA when our party set up a stand and few people showed up, and then some semi-homeless guy shows up, and he's saying that socialism didn't work in Russia and stuff, and then he says that if we had it here in America, communism will take away everything we have. and then I was thinking "What the **** have you got?" I was talking about yugoslavia to a guy at a local socialist meeting and he said "yugoslavia was great until stalin rolled in with tanks".

I think that the phrase "Communism works well in theory, but.... " has got to be the most overused one in modern politics.
Part of the appeal seems to be that it appears to make the speaker sound reasonable and considered (like they've actually written out the arguments on paper and have weighed up the pros and cons in great seriousness). It's really just another one of those empty catchphrases that have been repeated so often that many accept it as axiomatic. 30 Jan 2012, 17:53

Most of those statements are empty, anti-communist rhetoric repeated over the years verbatim to the point that they are accepted as fact. It should be the task of all serious communists to educate people, lest Marxism fall into obscurity due to a general ignorance amongst the population.
I remember watching Animal Farm in class years ago and the teacher was all like: See [stupid] students, this is why communism is a totalitarian system to be opposed at every corner!
