Hello, I am a new Marxist-Leninist and I live in Canada. I finally read up on some of the beliefs of Communism and how it works. I am now proud to say I believe in Communism and I really hope that I can spread the word of Communism. I hope to one day live in a Communist Canada. This site looks great, along with the community, so, I hope you all enjoy me being a part of it. Thank you for reading.

Hi Leo. Welcome to S-E. I lived in Canada for a while in between living in China and the United States. Which part of Canada are you from?

Hope you like the forum. How do you guys pronounce Lieutenant? I know the Americans say "Lew-tennent", but I was under the impression that it was originally meant to be "Lef-tennent". I read somewhere that it depended on what branch of the military it was - one thing for Army ("Lew-tennent") and something else ("Lef-tennent") for Naval and Air Forces.

I've always heard and said Lieutenant. Only in British media have I ever heard left-tenant.
