North Korea is a horrible country run by a dictator. Vietnam is poor. Somalia sucks but there is no perfect system. The only country which i believed socialism really worked was cuba but know i question it.

You don't seem to know shit about any of them. North Korea spent most of the 70's and 80's feeding the South and only the combined collapse of the USSR, ecological crisis, and persistent sanctions changed that. Vietnam is not poor in fact its one of the more dynamic asian economies and seems to still be on a genuinely socialist path (as opposed to Laos and China). There isn't anything bad to say about Cuba other than its necessarily slow pace at developing socialism. And lastly the Soviet Union was the greatest triumph of humanity to date.

Well why don't you teach me about the country's or suggest some readings. I am currently reading 1917 Russia's year of revolution. I don't see how you could defend North Korea there supporting succession. Also it seems like anyone who criticizes socialist or communist country's on this site gets a major backlash.

I have no problems with criticism when it's constructive. You, however, would rather be critical to the point of destruction. I support North Korea because it's a worker's state. A hazardously degenerated one but still one. And while I take little to nothing of what the ruling group says at face value I'm certainly not going to parrot western capitalist propaganda. Neither side can be trusted so I put my faith in the Korean workers and the closest thing they have to socialism (the DPRK).

I am not trying to be critical to the point of destruction. Maybe i am being to harsh. However that said i still believe that DPRK, degenerate or not, socialist or not is run by a crazy dictator. Cuba on the other hand i quite like and admire but before i completely support them i would have to go to Cuba myself.
