Greetings comrades, I am working on a new military site. I would like to get feedback on it but I want to make sure that I'm allowed to post an outside link here. Can someone tell me?
no offense, but I don't know you. so, please put the link to your site in your profile rather than the public forum for right now. you can let people know it is there.
What kind of information does your site offer?
Ok, I've put the link on my profile. It's about the weapons and equipment of the Red Army.
From what I peeked at, It's a nice site. I will give it some more serious read soon. I must admit, Weaponry isn't my forte, but I like to read about many things.

Blimey! Nice site, merely for the inclusion of the ill-fated, yet utterly beautiful SMK. This has sparked my old flame.

You're missing the most mass-produced Cold War tank. The T-54/55! And the famous T-72! Not to mention the T-90! (and hey if you're going to mention the Polish Twardy, might as well mention the India Ajeya (T-72 variant) and the Yugoslav M-84.
dear sweet jesus, This is why TRL is commisar of this forum
I have not forgotten about the T-54/T-55 (how could I) or the T-72. I'm just getting the site started, it will expand.
Oh ok. I'll be watching the progress.
EDIT: And the Czech T-72 mods. Those are cool. Oh and the Iraqi Lion of Babel, even if it did suck, it's at least an explanation for poor performance of Iraqi T-72's. <3 Chaz
It's been quite a while, but the website has been expanded a great deal. Many armored cars and ballistic missiles were added. What do you think? (link in my profile)

Excellent website! :-) Thanks for sharing! I will certainly use the information since I am not too familiar with the Red Armies weaponry. Thanks again!

I like the site, however will you put things in like experimental tanks Object 187/T-88, 292, or 785 for example.
Neoprime666 wrote: Thanks for your reply. Do you know of sources that have a good amount of information on these prototypes? I can only find brief mentions of these experimental tanks in books about other more popular tanks. On a related note, I'm trying to compile a list of all the Obiekt designations used and the tanks they referred to. |
