I sent my application to the YCLUSA today.
I hope they accept! Eh, I can never think of anything to say in my signatures.
you still need to talk to them If I remember correctly. I'd call them up as well when you have a chance. it help expidite the matter. When I joined the CP, It took me a few days to get a hold of them, but, no hitches..
which region are you in?
I live in the Annapolis, MD area.
I sent my application via their website, so I don't know if that will help anything. Eh, I can never think of anything to say in my signatures.
usually that's all that is needed.
but,, I'd call them as well. I had been working on new websites for the party recently to improve response times, but anyhow.. did you go to the national site? if you did, I can get you a number of someone to call there..(which would be in NYC)
Do keep us posted on the progress, I for one, am most interested.

well, progress was put to a grinding halt when I went in the hospital, but I hope to have something soon..
The site I went to is http://www.yclusa.org. I was redirected there from the Communist Party USA's main site.
Eh, I can never think of anything to say in my signatures.
This is the best post SE has had in the last year. Finally someone who takes the initiative to get working.
I also joined the dutch YCL online, after an encounter with one of its members on this board. I have been an active member for about 2 years now. Keep up the good work, comrade!

The Dutch YCL is called CJB, it's like the Belgian COMAC.
As for the SP, they are social-democrats. They have taken actual "socialism" out of their program long ago, and now they have finally removed their opposition to NATO membership and the monarchy. They cannot be called "socialist" by any stretch. Since they are the main social-democratic party, now that the PvdA has shifted to New Labourite liberalism, they naturally attract trotskyite entryism like shit attracts flies. Some might consider that a positive thing. I don't. Anyway, congrats Tardis. Hope it works out well.

I consider social-democrats as the "Third Way"goons. SP are radical reformists, that's not the same.

How are they radical? They favor purely parliamentary methods to get what they want within the framework of capitalism, the monarchy, and the NATO. Neither their methods nor their intentions can be called "radical" by any means.

What structural adjustments???
THey removed republicanism and NATO memberiship from their program. For christs sake, the Christian fundamentalists are more radical than the SP. |
