I guess I'm just confused on what is distinct about the weather underground. We're they particularly influential? What are your personal opinions on their purpose, means, and outcomes?

The Weather Underground seemed like a sound organisation but their methods weren't sound. Bombing senselessly without clear political objectives are meaningless and led to a backlash against them and contributed to their demise. Once the objectives of the 1960s had been achieved, they settled down and turned into the yuppies of the 80s, just like every other 'radical'.
