Sheesh! I wasn't aware that this was a "debate" site. I thought it was a discussion forum.

Why is debate in quotes? I used the word discuss.

I respond to you because I want to talk about it. If you respond to me, I kind of assume the same thing, because otherwise you have no reason to respond.

There were several comments made by several others regarding the "Marxism 10 Best / 10 Worst" article. For some reason you went after me.

That "reason" is because you made a claim that I wanted to investigate and discuss.

To better explain how I feel I posted a URL or two from Marxist sources. That's about it. "Political Affairs" is on-line and can be found via the CPUSA website.

The CPUSA is hardly Marxist-Leninist, but anyway, here's what I see: You say things about religion. You find the CPUSA saying things about religion. I say "Lenin said blah blah" about freedom of religion, seperation of church in state, recruiting religious people and even clergy working within the party, etc etc, and so that isn't really contradicting it. You say "Well I can respect it if some people treat Marxism is a dogma even if I can't understand it." You should be able to see why that's confusing of me.

I'm not really even trying to talk about politics now, as much I'm trying to understand your reaction. I am not some mighty Marxist theoretician riding upon a magical hammer either, you know, nor do I get my kicks out of seeking out and destroying incorrect opinions.

This has gotten to be too circular. So allow me to move things on to a different footing:

Why do you feel that the CPUSA is "hardly Marxist-Leninist"? What Party(ies) do you like? What do you think about Workers World Party? Socialist Alternative? (CWI / USA)

I am not "baiting" you: I am honestly just trying to learn more about communism. Esp as it is in North America.

FWIW: Each of these parties (claims to) staunchly support Freedom of Religion.
