Having just travelled around Bosnia, Serbia and Slovenia, I have found myself pretty interested in the Yugoslavian war. However, I want to get a book and I don't know where to start. Can anyone help?

Trusted Mole, by Milos Stonkvic (kinda of close) About a British Officer who served as an interpreter deals mainly with Serbs, good read

My war gone by how I miss it so, forgot author about an ex british officer who was a reporter during the war, tells croat, bosnian serb, and muslim sides of story

They wouldnt even hurt a fly good read about war criminals from each side, mainly serb, and croat though.

To kill a nation : the attack on Yugoslavia / Michael Parenti. Good book basically talks about the war being a capitalist plot by the IMF, also goes into operations in Kosovo.

My library has a large selection on Yugoslavia, im currently working my way through that and the Soviet section.

Have any of you read the books by Misha Glenny? How is his treatment of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, etc?

Is there any good military literature on the Yugoslav War? I mean the combat actions before the NATO intervention, between the various military and paramilitary groups.

Prop video about croatian offensive which liberated their territory within state borders from serbian troops. With that action serbian self-declared state seized to exist, and after there where no more military ops in Croatia. So that could be taken as the end of the war in Croatia.
