Interview with Dermot Hudson. Thought the forum would like to read this, it includes his poem of King II-Sung.
KFA are always good for a laugh and this does not disappoint!
Notice that he uses some of the racist language that KCNA has used to describe the Japanese ("murderous Japs"). I also detected that he may not be on quite the same page as the DPRK regarding homosexuality.
To be called gross but a supporter of the DPRK is a compliment. Thank you.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vogon#Poetry As far as his poem goes, I would not give up the day job Dermot. But these guys are hilarious, I want to go to one of their meetings as I imagine it will be a bit Monty Python-esque. If they say laughter is the best medicine then this guy should be on the NHS!
You're still gross and totally unfunny. Nothing new I guess.

Some constructive replies you got there Dagoth.
As constructive as Yami's trolling. Thanks for noticing me though.

This one is hoot too, you know I actually thought of joining the NCP but this article finally convinced me not to. Are they having a laugh, seriously, can anyone be this stupid to believe what they saw in North Korea was anything more than an illusion, a show put on by the state. I bet they never ever got to meet a single member of the working class. Quote: Sounds like they had the same sort of experience I did when I went with Koryo Tours a few years ago. Yeah you basically just get guided around the stuff they want you to see. You see stuff they don't but they forbid you to take photos of it. When leaving the country, they go through your photos and delete stuff they deem unacceptable (and no, not just military stuff, anything that makes the country look poor). Quote: Wow, he completely blew his single chance at being awesome in this interview. Quote: lolwut every single photo of the fat kid with his entourage disproves this "Don't know why i'm still surprised with this shit anyway." - Loz
Well glad it is just not me. But as for gReds experience, of them only showing him what they wanted him to see and deleting his photos is there a rational & socialist explanation why they would do this?
Deleting his pictures presumably is a small step on the road to socialism? Or, as it already (snigger) exits in the DPRK do they need to delete photos to defend socialism?
They delete them because they don't want the country to look bad in the international press. They don't want images of poverty or famine because it implies weakness. They also don't like shots of Kim Il Sung statues which don't include the entire statue in the shot. Incidentally they didn't delete any of mine because I hadn't taken anything deemed deletable. However, I also managed to hide one of my memory sticks in my luggage while the other remained in my camera. The guard only checked the one in my camera so technically I could have smuggled out photos of poverty (if I had taken any).

I find it quite a good interview, specially coming from vice.com
Mabool, he just commented from his own experience, which might be actually far from the truth - but it sounds honest. And regarding the pictures, you have to keep in mind the government is single handed fighting the West's propaganda machine. Of course they'll try to hide whatever they can. Now, is that the best policy? Maybe not. But it's a sieged country with low resources. They don't have many choices. Quote: Especially when every single non-staged ( and pretty much every night-time one ) photo from there shows how everything is poor and fragged up. Not to mention people collecting grass or kids being forced into ricefields or taking a bath in some dirty rivers. Is Cuba too not fighting a battle against the "West's" ( and everyone else's ) propaganda machine? So how they don't get all butthurt when it's obvious that even Havana looks like crap with facades that haven't been touched since the 50s and everything there being worn out and dilapidated. Cubans at least have food and electricity. What's the point of NK-apologism in fragging 2014?
They don't have many choices? Hmmm, lets turn to Marx!
What does he say? "Socialists/communists disdain from telling lies" Wow, that's pretty clear huh, you just tell the truth to the workers of the World, I mean they deserve that much, don't they?

I'm trying to understand why they do it, not just criticize from a higher moral ground. What's the point of NK-bashing in fragging 2014? Yami wrote: It is written in the gospell "thou shalt not lie"! Holy father Marx said so himself through his prophet Friederik
We are not bashing it, just telling the truth. The government in NK tells the workers there lies so it is up to the rest of us workers to tell the truth. With improvements in technology workers in NK will be able to access websites from around the globe and read the truth about their regime. Surely that is a good thing?
Ha ha, Marx did not say never lie, he said socialists and communists should not lie to the working class about what is going in the World today and what socialism has to offer them. http://community.mis.temple.edu/andrews ... eboarding/ More laughs from Dermot...can anyone understand what the frack he means when he talks about a 'Juche' style of skate-boarding?
Last week North Korean officials apologised for the collapse of an apartment building, which reportedly may have killed hundreds. You have to wonder how many other buildings in NK are potentially at a similar risk.
Now what is this…
Last week South Korean officials apologized for the sinking of a ferry with 300 confirmed deaths the majority of whom were children. Makes you wonder how many more children on ferries in South Korea are at risk.
