Jang Song Thaek has been stripped of his power over allegations of corruption and drug abuse.
His crimes? For those of you who are sensitive, look away now...the 67 year old has been accused of such sordid acts as womanising and drug-taking.
But joking aside, he has already been air-brushed out of offical photos which does not bode well for him. Not doubt he has sent many of his fellow countrymen and women to their deaths on his rise up the greasy pole so lets not shed any tears over him. But since when would womanising or drug taking be such terrible things under 'socialism' even Marx himself was a bit of womaniser.

You can see two photos of him being publicly removed in this BBC article.

Considering that these photos were even released and the public manor in which his removal was done, appears to be more of a message, if anything else.

They’ve shot him already? No queues for executions in North Korea. That was quick, don’t they have an appeals process?
I doubt he got a fair trial, you’d have to be brave to deft the leadership and find him innocent.
