Juche was influenced by the Sino-Soviet split, yes. My point was that the Marxist theorist who founded it, Hwang Jang Yop, defected to the Republic of Korea because Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il *failed* to implement true "self-reliance", or any version of socialism for that matter. Because North Korea is no longer "marxist" at all, its Fascist.

Almost every year tens and tens of thousands of high rise apartments are built in North Korea. Every collective have at least 300-600 high rise apartments. Mobility has never been a problem because they build their dwellings to where the workplace, factory or collective is situated. Far better than the urban planners of Toronto and Vancouver...
