Hi there, could I find somewhere online the collected works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il?
(In english I mean)
I would recommend checking out this site: http://www.korea-dpr.com/
Go to E-Library and E-Books, and you should be able to find a lot of pdf files containing writings of both Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, as well as some publications by the DPRK government.
Also, this thread has a lot of links to sources: viewtopic.php?f=131&t=49176
If you could be more specific about what kind of sources that you are looking for, and for what purpose, I'm sure the moderator (Oblisk) and one of our administrators (Misuzu) would be able to better point you in the right direction so you can get to what you need to find faster. They are both very knowledgeable about the DPRK.

I 've checked KFA's e-Library but the number of available texts is too small, and basically from Kim Jong Il.
I would like to study about korean socialism and Juche idea, during the full period of socialist construction, since the beginning and until today. I'm interested for the ideological process of Juche idea's formatting, since it began (before even the win of Revolution) and how it transformed during the great history of DPRK.
For example, there is a statement in english wikipedia:
According to a 1983 speech given by Kim Il Sung to education ministers of nonaligned countries in P'yongyang, universal, compulsory higher education was to be introduced "in the near future."
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_North_Korea) and I would like to find the whole speech of Kim Il Sung, it would be a very good way to prove the superiority of DPRK's educational system, which during the 80's seemed to be even better than USSR's.
I'm also interested in finding good pieces of historic text, from Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and WPK to attempt a translation to my native language (greek).
Unfortunately, there is only one book translated and published in Greece, with 8 Kim Il Sung speeches, and it is out-of-stock.
I think that it would be nice to have an online librady with the full works of the two Leaders, and also with good political and ideological analysis of WPK. Since there is a lot of disinformation about DPRK's ideology, it is important to have a full library available free to anyone.
Thanks for your help, I'll also check viewtopic.php?f=131&t=49176
Thanks for your interest of the works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. I myself have an extensive book collection from the DPRK, and I order from them regularly. I am curious, are you a DPRK supporter, or are you just curious?
I can provide you with information of how to order books in English if you wish to buy real books.
I do not have time to compose a list of links for electronic text versions right now, but I will do so soon.
I post Here
I am a supporter of all people and nations that fight against imperialism and move towards socialist construction and communism - of course including korean people, their state and their government.
I have also a special interest for DPRK, for a number of reasons:
1) During the 80's, while all socialist countries were declining and their economies were moving towards collapse, the DPRK was the only red state that kept advancing.
2) After the Sino-Soviet split, the whole "communist world" divided, half of states and parties were supporting China/Albania, and other half USSR. By introducing Juche ideology, Kim Il Sung basically refused to accept and recognise the disunion, he achieved to keep korean people united, and followed the hard line of unity, without arguing about "who is original marxist-leninist and who is revisionist". That 's why I have a great respect at Kim Il Sung and I want to study his works.
3) When USSR collapsed at '90 and China turned at market economy, most of socialist regimes were subverted by imperialist forces, because their people believed the imperialist lies. But the korean people still continue to fight against imperialism, despite being all alone and without trustworthy allied nations.
Since DPRK is the only state that keeps socialist principles, despite the lots of difficulties (even Cuba has recently started its own Perestroika, China is imperialist, Vietnam and Laos keep moving towards market economy) it means that there is a strong basis into korean people's politics. As far as I know, Juche Idea is a political and ideological system that takes classical marxism-leninism and transforms it to the needs of korean people. Since M-L is not a "dogma", but a theoretical tool for revolutionary action, I deduce that Juche Idea (and lately Songun politics) is the most high-level, creative and effectual application of M-L for the needs of korean society.
I don't support the use of Juche Idea to other countries. Juche Idea is the ideology that was born from the korean people, based on marxism-leninism, to use for their special revolutionary needs. Juche Idea is fit for korean people, but may not be suitable for other nations.
I support the process of formation of every nation's revolutionary ideology, based on marxism-leninism and their own special necessities, just as korean people have done since their liberation and continue doing today.
That's why I would like to study all the history of Juche Idea's formation process.
Post removed out of respect for the Dear Leader.
Agreed. Juche is to Korea as Bolshevism was to Russia.
