Is there any reason they wouldnt be accepted?
"from each according to ability" after all. Soviet America is Free America!
Under communism, there is no freedom; you are not free to live in poverty, be homeless, to be without an education, to starve, or to be without a job
Anyone who can work is perfectly fine. They produce for the society and get back what they put in (under Socialism).
Anyone who can't work is provided for. The elderly, the sick, the handicapped, etc. ![]() Forum Rules Red_Son: Bob Avakian is the Glenn Beck of communism. "Le prolétariat; c'est moi." - King Indigo XIV
The Soviet bloc countries were then at war. How do Western capitalist countries especially America deal with handicapped especially Vietnam War veterans? They leave them out there to die in the cold and survive through pittance as beggars. At least the mentally ill in Soviet bloc countries are recipients of health care though 4th class kinds of food compared to appartchiks. Look how many mentally ill, lame and blind US citizens are teeming the sidewalks of New York. I did not see neither one in my visits to Moscow nor St. Petersburg.
