The Soviet Union had toys!? I thought the children had to work in gulags and had to use feces for toys. Well soon everything will change little by little that had its glory day in the USSR.

Hehehehe. You're behind the times mate. Communist symboled clothes are already sold all over the place for tourists. Me thinks there are more hammer and sickle icons being put out now then in the Soviet days. Oh the irony.

Some Russians welcome the prospect of an overhaul, but many architects, preservationists and ordinary Muscovites fear the landmark will be transformed into just another mall, like dozens of Western-style shopping complexes that have sprouted in and around Moscow amid a remarkable economic recovery.

Good. Rather have it closed than bastardized.
