I don't know too much about what the Soviet's did in space besides Laika and Venus. Were there any plans for the exploration of Jovian planets? (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune)

One would assume so. I know the Soviets paid a lot of attention towards Venus and Mars, but I don't know if there were any missions to the outer planets.
