Because he lived almost his entire later life in London.

Highgate cemetery is open to the public, you can't miss the grave marker...

I've been there, it is a pretty cool statue, and cemetery itself is very spooky and overgrown in parts.

Same. If I knew I was going to die in the near future I'd make sure I visited those two places first.

I doubt it.. It brings in revenue (Read that somewhere). There hasn't been any USSR for about 20 years now, if Lenin wasn't buried then I doubt he'll be buried now.

How come no one wants to go see Ho Chi Minh or Mao? Anyways...

I'm not a huge fan of them and that's cause I don't know that much about them.

I want to see Khrushchev's grave
. Designed by an artist he hated, ironically. I plan to drop by Marx's grave this Christmas, and one day I hope to see Lenin's tomb, as well as Ho Chi Minh's, along with the rest of Vietnam.

I believe he's buried in/at the Kremlin wall, along with others... Andropov, Brezhnev, Chernenko.. At least Gorbachev won't have the honor.

I plan to visit the graves of those who are actually buried, as I feel mummification is utterly disrespectful to the leaders themselves. I'll gladly visit and pay my respects to Trotsky, Stalin, Marx, and Engels. But going in to look at Lenin or Ho just seems like spitting on their faces. I'll probably make an exception for Kim and Mao, though, seeing as they never seriously opposed their personality cults.

But then there are also the graves of those common soldiers who fell in various wars, who deserve equal respect.

I don't think it's spitting in their faces. I think it's admiring the body of a great leader.

Not if they want it. I mean was mummifying the pharaohs disrespectful?

However:

Agreed.

It is when they explicitly stated they wanted to be buried like a normal fragging person. I can't say for certain that Ho explicitly said he wanted to be buried but that was his kind of character so I support that, but Lenin on the other-hand explicitly did say so.

It is the height of betrayal to this, perhaps, greatest of men that his last wishes were not only not carried out but completely ignored. I fully support interring Lenin, immediately.
