Is he still alive?I really dont know much about him except that he made the most influental and wonderful gun ever.If he is alive i wish to meet this great man

Still alive... doing OK, but not great, on a pension. As you could guess, he has no patents on his creation... no country or builder sends him royalties. This is why you are seing items like "Kalashnikov Vodka" - spin off products that DO get him a bit of income.

Buy some if you can find it
This man deserves better in his old age.

Man thats messed up...why does't the mafia give him some $$$ i mean they make tons of cash selling his weps lol.But then again i dont think the red mafia is too keen on sharing.

I heard that Westerners have accused him in propaganda of terrorism lately, because of his vodka. I hope he wins the process...

He's alive and he still is an important person in questions of manufacturing ak's and a few years ago he was in germany at a trade show for guns. He said in an interview: "There is no doubt about that the Kalashnikov is the best gun for killing humans."
He's is right, i guess...

I'm not sure if he wants profit but he doesn't get much.

I mean he gets almost nothing... except of medals and stuff.

But he's still keeping up producing kalashnikovs and still puts important ideas in the gun functions and designs.
