Hey. First of all i have just made an account on this site, i found it by a "mistake".. Im a communist myself so i choose to make an account
. Well here goes my questions:

1). Anyone knows some communist/socialist metal/heavy metal or stuff like that?..

2). Does there exist communists on these forums who are between 15 and 35?.. =) I just wanna know if communism is spread by younger people too.

Sorry for my bad english.

Is there other kinds of commie music besides metal and punk?

Like commie disco, or goth, industrial, electroclash, or something?

Just wondering, not that i particularly like disco, but it would be intiresting none the less.

Here's a list of songs. Many are metal or punk but there are several other ones.

First of all there is no communist metal bands, because only acceptable for metal bands is:
a)burn norwegian churches or atleast sing about it
b)lyrics have to issue dragons, wizards and ancient warriors
c)there has to be long haired men with swords in covers of albums

Best bands compine all of these three

I allways liked sepultura and their touch with politics. Well I don´t know are they communists(doubt that) but overall tone and message of that band is really good. Besides of that sepultura is the reason why I know about the incident at carandiru, allso that band had very huge musical impact in certain teenage age communist state of mind a long time ago ......

Communist Metal? There are 400 sub genres of metal already, we dont need a bunch of crazy Russians making more

When it comes to Communist music... good ol' marching/chior music does it for me.

My namesake. It's an album from the technical/progressive thrash metal band Watchtower. Very socialistic lyrical themes.

As for metal bands from the Soviet Union - there's a number of thrash bands, of which Black Obelisk is my favourite. And of course, the influential heavy metal band Aria. I mention Aria loosely however, as although they were a Russian band with positively awesome music, lyrically they were very far from supporting communism (they often verged on neo-nazism).

Uff, actually, heavy metal is a good target for nazis, first of all, the black metal scene. I heard that National Front bought the Cymophane records, the label which pubblished Burzum ( white supremacist guy)CDs.

Hmm, heavy metal with socialist lyrics? I don't know, Stahlhammer, Laibach (but they are into their own-made totalitarianism), Napalm Death, the grind-core scene, Soilwork and... Enough.

Communist synthpunk. Listen to "rabota", the only lyrics are "I am a Communist". Also the guys call their stuff "Soviet dance music", which is incredibly cool.
