Normally this is the point I would began cursing, but I'll try to refrain. 2. I guess that's an opinion. 3.Never said it didn't. 4.That's funny. ![]() Is this what protection looks like to you? 5. I've read their quotes on Capitalism. But being an advocate of Capitalism doesn't make you a capitalist. One must own the means of production, and use it to make a profit. Fellow Comrade wrote: China is crony-capitalist, worse than the late Soviet Union! I despise the selfish, evil, self-obessed insanity of Chairman Mao, but he defended socialism and communism in the country, in however self-obsessed a manner, and for however warped a form. After he defeated the sane, earnest, humanist communists of the Chinese government, the only ones left were the discreet, disingenuous, cunning capitalists who knew no scarcity in their arranged honeymoon treatment "education" in the Soviet Union. Chairman Mao was ultimately defeated by these state capitalists, and China has been the world's "greatest" capitalism ever since!
None of them. Protesters pushed it too much maybe because they thought they could have the same result as in the eastern europe changes in 1989. From the other hand CCP response damaged the reputation of the party. The point of conflict was political liberalization since from mid 80s communism was actually dead in China
