The capitalists are perfectly able to rule in China, and do not rely on terror to stay in power. Thus you are wrong.

Then what do you call the Beijing Massacres!? The threat of work camps? The suppression of free speech? The suppression of religion? All of these by force, and you claim the CPC doesn't use terrorism to stay in power. This is ridiculous.

Was Hitler a capitalist? Mussolini?
No, they were the leaders; the means to sucre power, via brutality, racism, nationalism, etc.

Liberal sensationalism.

Red Specter wrote:

Better than prison.

Oh you mean the thing that doesn't exist in the west either?

Red Specter wrote:
The suppression of religion?

That isn't happening. Every major religious organization is protected in China.

Force =/= terror. You might as well call taxes terrorism.

Yes and adamantly so.

1.Liberal sensationalism? You've got to be kidding.

I could post a hundred more, but you can look for you self; they make me want to puke. We're talking about people lives. Everything they've done, everything they ever thought, felt; gone. They'll never see the people they loved, They'll never get to speak again; they no longer have a voice. And you call their murder "Liberal Sensationalism?" Normally this is the point I would began cursing, but I'll try to refrain.

2. I guess that's an opinion.

3.Never said it didn't.

4.That's funny.

Is this what protection looks like to you?

5. I've read their quotes on Capitalism. But being an advocate of Capitalism doesn't make you a capitalist. One must own the means of production, and use it to make a profit.

This is a no brainer. CCP. The protestors were Pro Western Students whose idea of a free democracy is neo-liberalism. Whatever you want to call China today, you can't call it neo-liberal.

China is crony-capitalist, worse than the late Soviet Union! I despise the selfish, evil, self-obessed insanity of Chairman Mao, but he defended socialism and communism in the country, in however self-obsessed a manner, and for however warped a form. After he defeated the sane, earnest, humanist communists of the Chinese government, the only ones left were the discreet, disingenuous, cunning capitalists who knew no scarcity in their arranged honeymoon treatment "education" in the Soviet Union. Chairman Mao was ultimately defeated by these state capitalists, and China has been the world's "greatest" capitalism ever since!

None of them. Protesters pushed it too much maybe because they thought they could have the same result as in the eastern europe changes in 1989. From the other hand CCP response damaged the reputation of the party. The point of conflict was political liberalization since from mid 80s communism was actually dead in China
