Hello everyone, I am a portuguese guy in his twenties. I'm currently finishing my degree, finally.
I joined the portuguese communist party few months ago, however, I joined to the party youth 2 years ago. I believe that communism is not an option. I believe it is more and more a necessity. Specially nowadays. Here in Portugal the situation is pretty rough. We have a right government that has no fear of giving to the people severe austerity, and we have a people that accepts that severe austerity, claiming it is necessary and the only option. As you probably know, Portugal asked for money to the IMF, EU and to the central bank of Europe. We are know receiving that money, but they are imposing on us more and more austerity. The unemployment rates are higher than ever, it is now at 16%, and the youth unemployment rate is at the 40%. This came to a point where our prime-minister said it was better for the young to emigrate than to stay in Portugal looking for a job. This country isn't fair to the communists. We lived half a century in a pro-fascist government, and the communists were the ones who were fighting that regime, and when I say fight, I mean it. Many communists died so that we could have some kind of freedom. That freedom arrived on April 1974. Back on that year, the communists stood in power with some people of the army. They had plans to make Portugal as socialist as possible. However, on November 1975 there was a counter-revolution, leaded by those that are now in power, the Socialist Party (that is not socialist), the Social Democrat Party and the Central Social Democratic party (these two in power today), which is a cristian party. This three parties are leading my country to ruin. They control our population very well, unfortunatelly, they impose the fear on the communists. Everyone says the communists are freaks, drug-dealers, alchoolics, those who "don't want to pay the debts". Being a communist in Portugal is not easy. Well, I hope I did not write too much, I just wanted you to know a little bit about me and my country. Red salute to you all, Diogo

Soviet America is Free America!
Under communism, there is no freedom; you are not free to live in poverty, be homeless, to be without an education, to starve, or to be without a job

Hi, bro!
Where are you from? I mean city.
welcome comrade
Communists in Greece are very supportive towards the CPP , you are doing a great job
It's worth noting that the so-called "Rescue Funds" of the European Union are no such thing. In truth all the money from these "rescues" goes first and foremost to pay the loans of (mostly German) banks. Hence why the "rescued" nations are not doing better despite the so called-rescue: it's pretty much just a maneuver to transfer EU funds to Central European banks.
Somehow I am reminded of the Delos League Back in white
