I've never understood why Communists buy Che T-shirts. It seems like some green fatigues or some surplus Eastern Bloc stuff would be a much more firm statement.

That's probably true..Come to think of it I'd never even thought of it.
Slay the masters, slay the soldiers, slay every man who holds a whip, but harm no child. Strike the chains off every slave you see.
It's often times cheaper, too. I'm not sure about for women, but I bought like 10 NVA jackshirts for $15.

I have a jacket exactly like this one:
![]() At home, but the problem is that while it looks great with a beret and the rest of the outfit, as an ordinary jacket it's kind of daft looking to wear, because of the way it's tailored. The problem with wearing military fatigues is that people tend to mistake you for an army nut. Quote: Not if you customize your clothes ![]() Quote: the laundry basket my wife has designated as "my clothes" (vs the 4 baskets, and 2 closets that are her clothes :P) are basically made up of those solid color t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, and sweaters you can get at target for $5 - $8 - $15 in a bunch of different colors. Also, to everyone out there first week of Oct every year you can buy jeans for 10-15 a pair at sears and JCPenny because they're trying like hell to get them off the shelf for the season. So Stock up then... and forget about it for awhile. I do need to cloth myself, and I have little choice but to shop in big box stores, but I don't have to give them a lot of money, and I don't have to become a billboard for their brand while doing so. My jacket for this winter is a soviet officers trench coat from 1989. No capitalist support there
Once they finally arrive, I'll have a pair of boots to match. Soviet America is Free America!
Under communism, there is no freedom; you are not free to live in poverty, be homeless, to be without an education, to starve, or to be without a job runequester wrote: That is awesome. Unfortunately, the only "commie-esque" clothing I have is an ushanka. I guess if I really wanted to make a statement I could always order a Soviet flag and wear it like a robe or poncho.
My advice to those who spend their holidays in Florida? Do not wear Che Guevarra t-shirts on the streets. The rightwinger Cubans would rip them apart and beat you up. Heard so many stories from my friends. Fascists!
