This ones british. You can tell why when you get there. It's fairly cheap...i think...:

I just went to Replicon in Freeport, NY. It's sort of a modeling show where modelers display their work and venders try to sell you tons of stuff. it was amazing. They had thousands of kits, thousands of acessories and millions of spare decal sheets and reference books.

There was this awesome stalingrad diorama with a train, T-34, about 20 infantrymen, a building, and a german plane sunk in a river. There was also this huge carrier kit with working lights that played naval music. and A U-boat run aground in someone's back yard. And a comedic diorama: A german soldier is inside the barrel of one of those mobile german mortars, and he has two hand grenades in his hands. He is talking to a buch of Nazi top brass types. The caption reads: Und ven you get over ze enemy lines you let go of ze hand grenades...

I got myself a BMP-2 kit (it was hard to resist the temptation to buy everything in sight, but I did). So, should i make the soviet, East German, or Czechoslovakian version?
Whoppee for Comrade Sergei.

I am registed at FineScale, but haven't posted there in a very long time. I post occasionally at HyperScale, but those guys are mostly into 1:48 Luftwaffe stuff. I've been more active recently at ARC. Have you seen the thread on the Trumpeter 1:32 Su-27 kit? I bought one last year and am following this thread for reference. Some amazing work going on there!

BTW, I've made several trips to Russia and made some interesting photographs. Check out these sites:

That is one AWESOME tank!! Congrats!! I just got an airbrush, but am still waiting for the compressor, so it's pretty useless.

I'm working now on a Soviet BMP-2, USSR Minsk, and SCUD truck. But i'm holding off on doing more work until I can airbrush them.

You were there when goby resigned? COOL!! I didn't hear about any fighting at that time. But that must have been cool (and pretty scary) to see tanks rolling down the streets.
Whoppee for Comrade Sergei.

The T-80 tank I posted above was indeed airbrushed and some drybrushing and a wash to help bring out details. I don't do many tanks, but this is the best one I've done to date.

I'm preparing to start on a 1:72 scale Myasishchev 3M "Bison" bomber.

Anyone know where I can get a Katyusha model? I love those things.
I can say God, but that is not my God. That is only a noise, and is no more potent than any other noise.
