You might be interested to know that the model in that poster was Lili Brik, the wife of the Formalist literary theorist Osip Brik and the girlfriend of Vladimir Mayakovsky. She was the subject of Mayakovsky's long poem 'Pro Eto' ('About This'), and it's her face which appears on the front cover of the book (and in Glorious Leader's sig banner). In many ways, Lili Brik was the muse of the Soviet avant-garde of the 1920s. She knew everybody who was anybody in the Soviet avant-garde, and she inspired them to create their greatest works.
