There were protests in Nantes, France against a new Airport project. 25,000 people demonstrated and they were violent.

But surely the new airport will bring in jobs? But this will be a tricky one...for this forum.
We here do not like people taking to the streets to protest and Hollande is a socialist...but, he is introducing some austerity measures so it might be acceptable to protest against them. But, this is against a capital project but then airports are not generally loved by the left so the protest may get the thumbs up by the comrades here.
