I asked about this movie in TLCTE but it often goes from page to page too quickly to get a reply. I'd like to know if any of our Vietnamese comrades have seen itand what they think of it. Others opinions are welcome are also welcome.

At first, how can you know about it???

Well, I think that it's a good quality film. Some of the film scenes were made abroad so it seems very realistic. But the content, I don't think it was real, because at the time many communist became traitors, not Vietnamese French. However, it still a good film to see (because it shows our heroic deeds)
.
BTW, its VNmese name is Dòng Máu Anh Hùng, not Anh Hùn.

A friend of mine from Vietnam asked me the same thing
. I found a subtitled version available for rent at a Blockbuster store. I like Martial arts movies and didn't realise it was from Vietnam until I got home. It's not easy to find in Australia as far as I know.

A lot of movies are not completely true to history. Particularly if they are from Hollywood
. I thought it was good too.

Woops. Thanks for that. I probably made a mistake when I was copying the name from wiki.

Not that I recall. Movies made in Socialist countries are not usually easy to find in Western countries.
