Could I please make a simple request?
When 'Yeltsining' one-liner posts, is it possible to put the text of the deleted post in the 'reason for edit' section? Sometimes people have already responded to these one-liners before they are deleted and it can make it difficult to follow the discussion if the text has been erased. An argument has also been made elsewhere that it is not readily obvious to the poster what they have written (once it is gone) - so the potential for them to "learn from their mistake" is significantly hampered.
In the past certain Moderators have done this (included the original post in the 'reason'), but with recent changes to the Team, this older policy seems to be being overlooked (or forgotten).
I hope this is a practical suggestion which will not not disrupt the order of the forum.

Mods? Is this a reasonable request? I think it is.

I usually include the original message in the reason box, except for once I can remember when I had to edit several posts at once, and decided to issue a general warning to everyone.

Very well. I'll begin to adopt this approach.
