In regards to chaz's recent announcement about "off-topic" polls...What polls do you consider to be "of topic"? Why is it wrong to have off topic polls in the off-topic forum?(Especially considering that idiotic "3 word story" thread exists)

this is a site to discuss politics. If it isn't politics, it's off topic.

why can't you do it? Because I say so. If we wanted off topic polls, you'd be allowed to initiate them in cafe mir.

This forum is not a soapbox for every question about this site. These things can be handled by PMing someone.

Discussion forii are meant to be on topic. We have had a policy for ages before you were here to not allow off topic and "do you hate _______" threads here. It tends to incite flaming and I don't have the time to fix it.

you'll get your av and pm features back when your card expires in a few days. And no, just because you are carded does not mean you can revert all your complaints here.

remember,this site is not a democracy. It is run by direct decree. Votes for which threads you want locked will not fo anything but get you carded.
