Can we please maintain higher quality of posting in publicly viewed forums?
Im getting pretty sick of powerscrolling through OLOPs(OneLineOnePosts) offtopics, and frankly, shitty posts. Its not just the job of you guys....well not censoring but doing quality control but the job of everyone on this forum to not act like aspies in the publically viewed forums. Youre all a cool bunch and I AM preaching to the choir but if you want to troll do it intellectually, if you have a valid reasonable point post it accordingly, and if you see something to argue, try. Keep the hurf, durf, and derp into mir gang.

Pull the post as a rant, or whatever modsquad, just more of my silly 1.3 pence.

Smart phones are partially to blame. I red carded someone today for bitching me out when I called out his one liners. I say we do need to collectively improve on this on all levels of users on this site.

It's not just this site, but the phenomenon has been bleeding its way onto everything. Another site wide crackdown may be in order... We may have to cull some members of the "coolest kids on teh internets" crowd if it continues.

please remember that reporting mod action posts and admin action posts is not a way to help us.

trent, stop with the report feature. It's getting annoying to follow up with. I got your point already.

votes and polls gets a lot of one liners by nature. We must be more apt to keep it on topic. Myself included.

dagoth, banning annoying culprets has never lowered board activity. It is still a last resort. But useful if warnings don't work.

Ok. I agree that something needs to be done. I will today, take action against the #1 culprit of this sort of thing. I have multiple links and reported posts that verify the most notorious culprit is a member by the name of Comrade Canuck. Pot Kettle Black my friend.

A Mod did his job by cleaning up his forum and making it known to me. Thank you for pointing this out and thanks to Oblisk for doing his job well.
