Requests for name changes are now only going to be considered if you have less than 250 posts.
If you have more posts than that, please do not ask for a name change.
This is necessary due primarily to the confusion that name changes create. Changing the name of a newer user is less confusing as they aren't yet as well known.
And yes, this is very arbitrary.
And yes, we may still reject your name change for other reasons such as it being offensive, or the duration of your membership here, but that will be decided on a case by case basis.
