This forum is for feedback and suggestions and questions about the running of Soviet-Empire.com.

Any user may post a topic in this forum, however, only moderators of Soviet-Empire.com and the sites associated with it (PoFo etc) are able to post replies. This is to make it easier for moderators to respond to the question asked rather than have to read through reams of inconsequential, inaccurate and frequently argumentative comment from other users.

Please be advised..

Quote:
2. Remain courteous and respectful to other users of the forums at all times. Do not make personally directed attacks on any other user (for example, it is acceptable to accuse someone of making a "moronic proposition" but it is not acceptable to accuse someone of being a "moron").

This Particular Forum has become a Sounding board for Anyone that wants to Gripe about another Member. This will have to stop. Let's keep the personal complaints out of this forum.

If there is a personal insult against you, Please be advised to the best way to handle this:

A) utilise the PM feature. Send a message to the moderator of the forum you are in.

or for a more immediate solution:

B) PM me or a mod that is on line at the time.

Important information that needs to be sent in this message: The attack in Quote boxes and Put a link to the forum so the Mod can view the circumstances. without this we can do nothing.

This Forum is to be used to build the site up. Not tear our Brothers Down.

If you would like to get your username changed, start a new topic that describes both your current username and your future username. In general, we don't mind granting name changes, so just ask, unless we have changed it recently.

So Now, in closing, a Short list of Topics that should not to be started in Let's Work Harder Comrades:

1. Problems with your Pofo Account.
2. Requests to ban specific members.
3. Personal insult reports.
4. Bot Extermination requests
. (PM these to a moderator or Admin with link to thread that the bot posted in).

Comradely,

Chaz171

More things this forum isn't for:

5. Your objections to a particular action by a moderator. (PM complaints to an administrator)
6. Asking why a topic or post was removed. (PM questions to the subforum's moderator)

I'd like to add that this is not an appropriate place to criticize a particular action by a moderator, such as an objection to your post removal.

Criticism towards those in charge is a wonderful thing, but this is not the place to complain about a particular moderator's actions towards yourself. Doing this via private message to an administrator decreases the hostility between you and the moderator, makes the administrators take you more seriously, and is a more considerate way to accomplish what you want.

Also, if you sincerely don't understand why something was done by a moderator, feel free to ask them to explain via private message.

In short, mod doing something they shouldn't? PM an admin.
Want to know what you did so you can avoid doing it again? PM the subforum's mod.

I sincerely thank you all for your cooperation.

Please be advised, Necroposting for the sake of raising one's post count in the intro forum is now a cardable offense. I just got done having to delete 20 or so posts on threads dormant since early spring.

Before asking for a new forum of any kind, please be aware there needs to be a very active thread somewhere to back up your request. Only then will a forum request be considered. Any unsubstantiated requests will be denied.

I lift cards when I can get around to lifting cards. When someone has other people badgering me when their card is 2 hours overdue for lifting, frankly, it pisses me off. I am not on anyone's beck and call to lift cards for mistakes others made in the first place.
