on 26th of april the liberation front of slovene nation was founded by patriots who decided to exterminate everything which smelled like nazism and/or fascism as part of all-encompassing yugoslav anti-fascist front and broke the myth of german invincibility at dražgoše battle. the day after armed resistance began and it is on 27th that we celebrate day of resistance. the ideas of tito's panslavic communism are eternal. now for some music!

700 years ago exactly, the nobility of Lièges, a city in Belgium, burnt the meat market because they couldn't chose the new Prince-Bishop. The butchers rebelled and were joined by the other craftsmen, and also the clergy. The nobility was outnumbered and they had to retreat on Publémont Hill. Surrounded, they entrenched themselves in the Saint Martin basilica. The people burnt them all inside.
