Yeah in the US it's in early September and it's the unofficial end to the summer. I'm not sure why the American labor day is then when May Day is international labor day.

Isn't it obvious? International may day leads directly to international worker's consciousness. Everything that can be done to disconnect foreign workers from one another will be done.
