Hello, not sure if this is the best place to start this thread but anyone can reccomend some good books on the conflict. I can't find any good ones that aren't filled with western propaganda. thanks!

Are you referring to the WW2 in Yugoslavia or the wars in the 90-ies?

I'm not sure whether you're fluent in serbocroatian language as the books i'm recommending can only be read in that language:
- Veljko Kadijević - Moje vidjenje raspada (My view of the breakup)
- Branko Mamula - Slučaj Jugoslavija (Case Yugoslavia)

Kadijević was the federal minister of defense at the time of SFRY's breakup and i hold him personally responsible for not initiating a coup d'etat. But that's just my opinion so you better form your own.
Mamula was also the federal minister of defense but in the mid-80s prior to Kadijević.

Try To Kill a Nation by Michael Parenti. I have to admit I only read half of it, but it's readable and written from a fact-based perspective that challenges, indeed demolishes, the Western propaganda narrative. However, he skates dangerously close to genocide denial when it comes to Srebrenica.
