I have found some maps that others may find interesting.
The main military base is on the North Eastern part of base, PLUS a smaller one on the Western side. And it is quite big. Perhaps up to 1/4 or even 1/3 of the island is military ground.
Eastern white circle is the military base.

You can see in the green aurora the military base, and the civilian town in red.
