In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landings, I would like to wish everybody a belated happy Astronautics day.

I as well. I just read the RT interview with Aleksey Leonov tonight. He gave some interesting insight into the Space Race and the shared appreciation and brotherhood between all cosmonauts and astronauts.

I've got to say I've always like the name 'cosmonaut' much more than 'astronaut' even as a little kid. I dunno cosmos is way cooler than astron.

This. It just makes much more sense. 'astronaut' kind of implies diving into stars. Who'd want to do that anyway?
