If you had to choose one language out of the list, which one is the most pleasing language to hear?

I like listening to German and Italian music the most but I have to say that Italian is the most pleasing language, followed closely by German.

I think that language is neutral. The idea that one language is more pleasant than another is ideological.

I think this topic is best discussed by aliens and not any humans who might have a personal bias on the matter.

I speak a couple on that list but I'd have to say, while German is the least fun to speak, ( I don't like how it feels) it is the most attractive to hear besides Hebrew.

French, and I really enjoy speaking it as well. Their way of expressing themselves really fits me better than any other language(that I know to speak).

As I'm an otaku whom enjoys watching anime, and listening to J-pop music, I'd say that Japanese is the most pleasant language.

From the options listed, it's a three-way tie between German, French and Russian. They're all beautiful in their own way.....i mean really any of the languages listed are fun to listen to. Swedish and Norwegian are also fun.

How about Latin or those languages spoken by the Kalahari tribesmen with all the clicking sounds? (Khoisan languages) They sound cool.

It hardly is. coming from someone who speaks 4 languages I can say that each language has a specific function:

Russian--> Camaraderie
English--> Math and Sciences, discussing marxism and politics
Armenian--> swearing, threatening people, speaking of landscapes and feelings linked to locations
French--> best language for describing intricate emotional and psychological conditions

I personally feel more attached to french as I think it has a better flow and is more pleasant, although Armenian and Russian are phonetically softer.

PS. I really want to learn Arabic, sounds really cool and I want to read and understand expressions in the Koran, in their native language

True. Italian has that rustic Roman feel that is missing from other Romance languages and is the most romantic of them all.

I see that nobody chose English. I wonder why?
