I was thinking of a female soldier from WWII for the Red Army forum, to put a human face on things whilst avoiding "macho" imagery.

I like Tails' propaganda image, though I'd prefer something in colour.

The above image wouldn't convey obvious meaning when reduced to 50x50 pixels.

With the colored one I can't help but hate the angle. Oh and you edited out the hand which kinda makes her look goofy.

I agree with Che. The "Red Wedge" is instantly recognizable by those "in the know", and it seems to convey itself even at 50 pixels, as demonstrated by Che's example.
