Welcome to the weird and wacky, outrageously fantastic, surreal and mesmerising world of Soviet public art!
This was a project that spanned over a decade. The artist has spent a great deal of time traveling to capture the beauty and creativity of bus stops from the Soviet Union. Photographer Christopher Herwig has covered more than 30,000 km by car, bike, bus and taxi in 13 countries discovering and documenting these unexpected treasures of modern art.
I did not have a chance to pre-order the limited edition but I will buy the second edition as soon as it comes out.
