New Constructivism

What have these paintings to do with Constructivism? It just seems as if the artist had taken one too many tabs of acid.

That's probably just the acid. The artist was having a bad trip....

It appears that the skulls and bones are circulating around Stalin, though.

I can see them around Lenin's head as well. And it portrays Lenin and Stalin as close comrades. This is an anti-Communist picture, not just anti-Stalinist.

Now that I actually looked at the picture, I agree. It is very anti-Communist. But they are very interesting paintings at that. I’ve never seen that style before.

Then you obviously never experienced the Psychedelic 60s. Man. Everybody was painting like that. They thought it was kinda cool and y'know groovy, in a stoned-out kinda way. As Austin Powers would say, "Yeah, BABY!"

And these are very anti-Communist paintings. The Communist leaders are all portrayed dripping with blood. Who painted these? And why?
