Become a Citizen

The highest objective of a representative is the benefit of the nation

Welcome to the Immigration and naturalisation department of the Soviet Union comrade! Here we will guide you through the Soviet bureaucracy in order that you may attain your citizenship papers as quickly and efficiently as possible.

To become a citizen of the U.S.S.R. the first thing you should do is join our Yahoo-Group, the snappily titled Union of Soviet Socialist Republics cyber state non-governmental planning committee. This is an e-mail discussion group where talk about and organising of the community takes place. If you do not wish to receive all the e-mail discussion that's not a problem, once you join you can change your mail delivery options to receive only one e-mail a day containing all the discussion, only "special announcements" or no e-mail at all. We would suggest that you at least set your e-mail options to receive special announcements because in the (rare) event that our forums go offline our government is transferred to the Yahoo-group as an emergency measure.

The next step is most important; to register an account on our web discussion board, which is where most of the conversation and debate takes place. Having registered an account you should then proceed to the Citizenship: Immigration and Naturalisation forum where you should post a message saying that you wish to register as a citizen of the U.S.S.R. In your post you should include your name and/or alias that you wish to be known by, your ICQ number or other instant messaging contact if you have one, and a little introduction about who you are and how you found our community.

Provided all the above is complete you are now a citizen of the Soviet Union. Welcome back to the U.S.S.R. comrade!

At some point in the not too distant future we hope to have blank citizenship papers here you to print out and fill in yourself in case you should ever meet the Soviet border police. And finally, you should check out the "New Citizens Guide".
