Roll those dice! (But don't expect to get paid!)Following the narrow passage of the Gambling bill through the Duma, gambling will no longer constitute a legally binding contract in the PRNSE. The bill, designed by Commissar Snorkolov, will prevent any young economy formed within the PRNSE becoming swamped by gambling as its main industry, so the PRNSE will not become a “gambling Mecca of the Micro-national world”. Nevertheless there are clearly people in the PRNSE who enjoy a good wager, as this Act becomes the second to be passed by the bare minimum majority of two thirds. This act does not, however, make gambling illegal, so people are still free to gamble with each other should they both agree to do so

Freedom of Information Act passes in closest vote everYes, that's right comrades, the Freedom of Information bill passed through the Duma with exactly 2/3 support, the bare minimum required to pass a new law. The Freedom of Information Act will now provide a legal backing to the principle of open and honest government, for the people, by the people.

PRNSE signs non-aggression treaty with Lyrican RepublicIn the past, relations between the PRNSE and the Lyrican Republic have not been very pleasant, because of several factors on both sides. harsh words were exchanged, and complaints were made. However, this is set to change with the signing of a non-aggression treaty between the PRNSE and the Lyrican Republic. This treaty was succesfully negociated by Comrade ScorchedCCCP, Commissar for English Relations, and it prevents the governments of both nations declaring war on each other, sending spies into each other's nations, or aiding the enemies of the other nation. For the full text of the treaty, visit this page This is an excellent start for Comrade ScorchedCCCP. No doubt, he will prove to be a very valuable addition to the PRNSE.

President Fox's Mayday Address to the NationComrades of the People's Revolutionary Party!
Frequently over the past months I have been complimented by people from across the micro-national community and beyond on the achievements of our nation. Be it the head of state of another micro-nation, a passing web surfer who stumbles upon our site or even people involved in macro-national government. People are impressed by the good work that goes on in the People's Republic of the New Soviet Empire, and the hard work of the people of this nation. It is YOU who have built this nation to be what it is today, it is YOUR contributions, however large or small that have brought us this far, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your efforts. Right from our humble beginnings to such mammoth projects being undertaken today as the national library it is the work of the everyday citizen that has seen us through. It is the patriotism of the New Soviet citizen and his willingness to work for the better good of our nation that makes me proud to be a citizen of the New Soviet Empire.
I light of all our achievements to the outsider it is difficult to believe that we are a mere eight months old, particularly when comparing our fledgling People's Republic with the older more established micro-nations. But still we have finished only a tiny fraction of our work, and our ambition to make our nation the shining example must not cease. Instead of sitting back and looking at what has been done let us together, attack the challenge of proving communism's worth with renewed vigour and determination and not even stop when we reach the top but keep on building!
It is our duty to build a community that others will aspire to. To set the shining example of how things should be done so that even the most sceptical must at least concede our efficiency. We must strive to be that beacon to others of the model community that gets the job done and does it magnificently without exception! And at the end of the day let everyone see that it was all achieved with the guiding light of Communism!
All the best to you all Siberian Fox Comrade President
